It makes perfect sense to

Me that heavenly father would have all of his people keep records. Who knows when we will be able to see and read the other books that have been written. I can't even read this one, so we will see when the more books come from different lands!  

We shouldn't put our trust in man EVER! Always trust in The Lord!!!!!

Do not be at ease in Zion. Satan is always after us. We must always be on our toes. And we must always be on guard!!!  

We need to repent if we repent we will not be destroyed!!!

2 Nephi 28: it is so weird to read this chapter and know that we are living in what it is describing. 

2 Nep 27`

This chapter is totally prophesying of the coming of hte Book of Mormon and the three witnesses and the book that is sealed and so forth and so on. I think it is crazy that the prophsies are so old, yet they are so true.  How could someone NOT believe that this is the true church!  IT is!

My first day to miss!

Gosh darnet!  I missed a day!  I thought for sure I did it last night, but it looks like I did not!  But actually I have been meaning to change the way I do this!  For the last couple months I have had to do it on my phone, becuase my computer hasn't been working very well!  I think that makes me a little bit lazier!  I need to do it on the computer and I need to do it earlier in the day instead of while I am falling asleep on the  couch!!!!  So, that is what needs to happen now!             Just to let everyone know!

I like how it says everyone is the same in the eyes if god. He doesn't see black and  white.   

Iove in this chapter in the last verses it asks has god ever told anyone to go away,to leave the synagogue, so forth. And the answer is NO!  It is our choice to leave. It is our choice to not pray or to not read. It is our choice to turn away from Hin. So we must not turn away!!!!

Ok bi definitely do not wanna be one if the wicked at the last days. Let's remain one if the righteous!!!

Keep the commandments with all your heart mind and soul you will be blessed!  

The Lord has commanded all men to record the words He has spoken them. There are so many more words out there that we  have yet to even receive!!  Need to get to know these words!

I love how The Lord says why do you murmur because I am giving you more of my word. And why wouldn't he talk to more nations. It is our way if seeing that He is the same today yesterday and tomorrow. :)

I just love the question posed - wouldn't you think there are other nations?!  Of course I do. And they have their records too. Ah.... That is quite a bit of records out there.  

They are talking about already having a bible?! What about modern revelation? Why can't there be another book of scripture?! And to be honest....who even knows how many books of scriptures terre really are. I don't even wanna think about it!!

In the last days many false churches will be built. 

Soo mxmy churches declaring to be the only true church. Glad I found the really true church. 

This chapter is really talking about how things. Are going to come to pass in the last days. 

Ooh  yikes. If you choose the way of the devil you choose the parh of darkness and you must go to Hell!!!  Yikes!!!

2 Nephi 26:7

This verse really stood out to me. Nephi is in anguish because he knows his brethren are going to fall At the last day. He has seen it. But he says he has told the Lotd His ways Ate just!  That would be so hard. You would have to have duh great faith. Which I know Nephi does have. I need to have that same faith in The Lord that whatever is happening in my life is happening for a reason!  I know that!  

I really like in the 25 ch of 2nd Nephi how Nephi says I am speaking plainly unto you so you can not err. And he does. He just says it as it is. Jesus will be His name. He will crucified. It is only through Christ that we can be saved. And many other things. It also has one of my favorite versus. We talk of Christ. We rejoice in Christ. We prophecy of Christ and we teach our children about Christ. 

Again Nephi says he glories in the plainness of Isaiah. I really need to go back and reread all of those chapters and do it with the spirit cuz that is how I will understand Isaiah?!

Millennial rest?! What do you think that is? It sounds great! But I know we will be working hard in the millennium. But I think the rest part of it is we will have rest from Satans temptations!

Hmmm.. Another Isaiah Chapter. I read it. And that is all I can really write. 

Again The Lord says He will be merciful to those who believe in Hin but the wicked he will punish. I believe!  For sure. I know there are many more areas is my life that I can and should and will improve I.  But I will continue to work At it. 

Wow!  I really like this chapter. I like the way it is worded and how it says things. God is my salvation-I will trust and not r afraid ! 

This chapter is about how Christ will judge in righteousness. And how during the millennium knowledge of god will cover the entire earth! And Israel will be gathered.  

This chapter of Isaiah talks about what it will be like at the scoring coming and how there won't be too many people left after The Lord visits. Hmmm, I wonder what that will be like?!

For unto us a child is born!!  One of my favorite scriptures!!!  

In this chapter it talks about how we should seek the Lord and not other people or things to help us make decisions in life.

I like this verse...I will not ask, neither will I tempt the lord!  

Isaiah!!!  

Well I didn't really do what I said I was going to do yesterday no waited. Until really Kate to make these posts. 

Another Isaiah chapter tonight. I really need to be reading the scriptures in the earlier part of the day so that I can actually read and study them. I am not even sure dgZd this one is saying. Maybe kne day I will understand Isaiah. 

Not good to worldly!!!!

As I read from ch 12 it talks about the house of The Lord. Andrew and I need to go again soon. Our last visit was cut short. I love the temple. I love it. 

I really like chapter 11 of 2nd Neohi!  All the things that nephis soul delighteth in. My soul delighteth in many things too like the gospel and my boys and soon be gi!!!  Home! My testimony ! My family. My health. And do much. 

Nephi loved Isaiah. I need to love Isaiah more!!!

Sooo how does it make us feel that we are the a e that would crucify our Lord!!  Hard to believe. 

There had to be a resurrection. 

Awake

In 2 Nephi 8 it tells us to awake, awake three times. Must be important. The first and last time it tells us to put on strength. And the second time it tells us to stand up!  All of which are calls to action. How are we going to put on strength? Prayer, scripture study, testimony, church, all will help us out on strength. And then we need to stand up to satan and his followers. We need to stand up for what is right even if we are standing alone!  Awake!

I love in verse3 it says that The Lord will comfort Zion!  This brings me great comfort because I know that if I work hard and follow the commandments I will be one fhat He comforts. 

Arise and awake. Put on the strength of Zion. 

Isaiah chapter. Not sure what the rest of the chapter said after verse 1. But I read it!!!

2 Nephi 7

In verse 1 it talks about who is actually putting The Lord away? The Lord doesn't sell us, we sell The Lord when we do not do what he says and we don't follow His commandments. 

I love how he quotes from Isaiah. 

I love how Jacob says that his anxiety is great for us!!  I feel like that is how the prophets are as well. I know they pray for our welfare so hard and so much. 

Manner of Happiness

In Nephi Ch 5 it talks about how Nephi left Laman and Lemuel behind because the Lord told him to leave them and those who would follow Nephi would go with him.  It talks about things that Nephi and his people are doing to help them live in the Manner of Happiness. They built a Temple, they grew food, they were taught about the minerals of the Earth...they left the negative Lamen and Lemuel behind.  They had leaders. They had Hometeachers.  They took care of one another.  They followed the Lord.  They were taught from the scriptures.  They kept journals.  All of the things that we are commanded to do, they did!  I know that as we follow the Lord and His commandments, we too will live int he Manner of Happiness!!!

The Pslam of Nephi. 

I love reading the second half of this chapter. The Pslam of Nephi. The prayer that he offers up unto The Lord is pretty amazing. He praise the Lord and gives him thanks for everything and then he pleads with The Lord. He definitely shows us a good example to follow when praying!

2 Nephi 4

At the beginning  of chapter 4 Lehi talks to his grand kids and points out they will be punished for their own sins. To. E careful. 

Ch 3

Lehi is talkin to his son Joseph in this chapter. I love that Lehi took time to talk all of his children.   It makes me think that we need to do the same. Have one on ones with our kids regularly. 

2 Nephi 2

These have been some of my favorite scriptures for such a long time. I love the words that were chosen to describe what out two choices are, choose liberty and eternal life or captivity and death. If I could quote Sid from the movie Ice Age..."I choose life!"

2 Nephi 2: 18-

 18 And because he had fallen from heaven, and had become miserable forever, he ^asought also the misery of all mankind. Wherefore, he said unto Eve, yea, even that old serpent, who is the devil, who is the father of all ^blies, wherefore he said: Partake of the forbidden fruit, and ye shall not die, but ye shall be as God,^cknowing good and evil.

 19 And after Adam and Eve had ^apartaken of the forbidden fruit they were driven out of the garden of ^bEden, to till the earth.

 20 And they have brought forth children; yea, even the ^afamily of all the earth.

 21 And the days of the children of ^amen were prolonged, according to the ^bwill of God, that they might ^crepent while in the flesh; wherefore, their state became a state of ^dprobation, and their time was lengthened, according to the commandments which the Lord God gave unto the children of men. For he gave commandment that all men must repent; for he showed unto all men that they were ^elost, because of the transgression of their parents.

 22 And now, behold, if Adam had not transgressed he would not have fallen, but he would have remained in the garden of Eden. And all things which were created must have remained in the same state in which they were after they were created; and they must have remained forever, and had no end.

 23 And they would have had no ^achildren; wherefore they would have remained in a state of innocence, having no ^bjoy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no ^csin.

 24 But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who ^aknoweth all things.

I sbsolutely LOVE this scripture.  It gives me much hope!  That I am not just being pushed around from place to place.  that He really does have a a plan for me and that He really does know that I am here and that I need Him!

What amazing verses. Saying we can not be saved save it be through Jesus Christ. For he is full of grace and truth. Nd we must have a broken heart and contrite spirit. And then I love in 8 where it says how important is it that we let the inhabitants of the Earth know all of this!!  It is. It is so important. We need to share the knowledge we have.
