7 And I also saw agold, and silver, and silks, and scarlets, and fine-twined blinen, and all manner of precious clothing; and I saw many harlots.
8 And the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold the gold, and the silver, and the silks, and the scarlets, and the fine-twined linen, and the precious clothing, and the harlots, are the adesires of this great and abominable church.
9 And also for the apraise of the world do they bdestroy the saints of God, and bring them down into captivity.(It says here that the desires of the great and abomidable church are all these WORDLY things. What are my desires? What ARE my desires? I desire to be a good person. I desire to serve others. I desire to be kind and helpful tot hose around me and I desire be the best daughter of my Haevenly Father. Unfortunately my actions don't always mirror my desires. I guess that is the goal of this life. To have our desires aligned with the desires Heavenly Father has for us and then to make sure our actions show those desires!!!
